Sacramental Preparation

Baptism - A preparation program for Parents is required in the case of infants and young children. Call the Pastoral Center, (315) 782-6086, for further information. 

A comprehensive Religious Education program is provided for children in kindergarten through tenth grades. For registration information and specifics of meeting dates and times, please contact Mrs. Liz Bamann, Director of Religious Education, by calling the Pastoral Center, 782-6086. Parental participation is required for sacramental preparation for First Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation. 

First Eucharist and First Reconciliation: First Reconciliation preparation is conducted during the fall.   First Holy Communion at St. Patrick's will be Saturday, May 12, 2012 at a special Liturgy.

Confirmation: There is a two year program for Confirmation classes for 9th and 10th grade students attending Watertown High and Immaculate Heart Central. Contact Mrs. Liz Bamann, Director of Religious Education, at 782-6086.  
 
This year our candidates will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop LaValley on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Holy Family Church, Watertown.

Sacrament of Matrimony - Couples considering marriage should contact Deacon Kevin Mastellon, (315) 782-6086, at least six months in advance of your anticipated wedding date. A Marriage Preparation program, either "Couple to Couple" or an "Engaged Encounter Weekend", is required.

Anointing of the Sick - Available upon request. Parishioners who are hospitalized must specify when admitted that they are Catholic and belong to St. Patrick's to be certain of a visit from the Chaplain, priest or deacon. Family and friends are encouraged to call the Pastoral Center to let us know too.

Ordination: If you are interested in discussing a call to the priesthood or permanent diaconate, contact Fr. Don Robinson or Deacon Kevin Mastellon.
