In December 2008, St. Patrick's Parish adopted a unit from the 3rd Brigade of the 10th Mountain Division.  Our unit, part of the 3 71 CAV, deployed to Afghanistan.  These Soldiers have now returned home. Thank you for your generous support of this effort.

We are sponsoring a unit from Triple Deuce in 2010. This is a larger group, nearly 50 soldiers, so we will need strong parish support as we prepare boxes to send to these men in Afghanistan.  Watch for more information here on the web, in the weekly bulletin and on bulletin boards at church.

Religious Education classes for 2009-2010 began Sunday, Sept 20th for grades K to 6.
Confirmation students (9th and 10th graders) also began on the 20th.
Classes for 7th and 8th graders began on the 27th.

It isn't too late to register. For information and specifics of meeting dates and times, please contact Mrs. Liz Bamann by calling the Pastoral Center, 782-6086.

Special Thanks to all who helped with the Liturgies, reception and dinner on September 27th as St. Patrick's parishioners bid farewell to our pastor of twelve plus years, Fr. Arthur La Baff. It was certainly a day to remember.

A Tip of the Hat to Tom Bartelson and his crew!

Thanks to all who helped and all who came out to support the St. Patrick's Parish Irish Dinner, Saturday evening March 22. We had several families from our adopted unit on hand.  Girls, we hope you and the kids enjoyed yourselves and we'll look forward to seeing you again soon.

Many hands make light work ... we proved it on Friday night as a group of men and women assembled to peel and prepare for the event! Lots of laughs and we had it all done in record time!  Maybe we'll see you there next year?
