St. Patrick's Parish Adopt-A-Unit News

We are sponsoring a unit from Triple Deuce in 2010. The first boxes were mailed have been backed and mailed. This is a large group, nearly 50 soldiers, so we need strong parish support as we prepare boxes to send to these men in Afghanistan.  See Peter or Pat Esposito for ideas on what you can donate to ship to OUR SOLDIERS.

 

Religious Education classes for the year begin soon. Download a copy of the schedule here.

Classes are held on Sunday mornings (September-May) for grades K to 6.
Confirmation students (9th and 10th graders) and classes for 7th and 8th graders are also scheduled on Sunday mornings. 

For information and specifics of meeting dates and times, please contact Mrs. Liz Bamann, Director of Religious Education, by calling the Pastoral Center, 782-6086.

Special Thanks to all who helped with the Liturgies, reception and dinner on September 27th as St. Patrick's parishioners bid farewell to our pastor of twelve plus years, Fr. Arthur La Baff. It was certainly a day to remember.

Thanks to all who helped and all who came out to support the St. Patrick's Parish Irish Dinner, Saturday evening March 22. We had several families from our adopted unit on hand.  Girls, we hope you and the kids enjoyed yourselves and we'll look forward to seeing you again soon.

 

Many hands make light work ... we proved it on Friday night as a group of men and women assembled to peel and prepare for the event! Lots of laughs and we had it all done in record time!  Maybe we'll see you there next year?
